President and CEO

Dr. Anthony Costantino is President and CEO of  DRUGSCAN®. Prior to his status at DRUGSCAN®, he was Vice President of Operations at National Medical Services (NMS), a national reference toxicology laboratory in Willow Grove, PA, for six years.  Previous to joining NMS, Dr. Costantino was Senior Vice President and Director of Toxicology with the American Medical Laboratories (AML) from 1991 to 2002.  His responsibilities included the SAMHSA certified laboratory as well as their forensic and clinical toxicology and industrial hygiene laboratory, overseeing the Orlando and Las Vegas toxicology operations.  Dr. Costantino has over 25 years experience in the field of analytical toxicology.

He has a degree in Pharmacy as well as a M.S. in Pharmacology/Toxicology from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA and earned his Ph.D. in Forensic Toxicology at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Costantino is a former President of the Society of Forensic Toxicology and is an adjunct professor at the Forensic Science College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Arcadia University. He is also the author of over 30 scientific publications in the field of forensic toxicology.
